Position

    We are a dynamic multi-responsibility team, handling key delivery aspects of the transformation project. You will be part of one (or more) of the following streams in this international and challenging position.

  • Test Management Stream
  • Release Management Stream
  • Post Production Site Reliability Stream.
  • As part of the Test Management team, you will be responsible for the following tasks.   

    Automation Testing Stream:

  • Taking ownership of (designing and maintaining) of our automated test strategy and to lead by example in providing a complete, multi-layered test solution for our products.
  • Drive quality testing solutions by planning and constructing test scripts through use of quality processes and methodologies.
  • Use innovative approaches and state of the art technologies to implement test automation
  • Coordinate and execute regression testing
  • Effectively track issues and automated test coverage.
  • Comprehensively log and document automated testing phases and defects.
  • Implement pragmatic performance testing strategies.
  • Execute performance testing using of a range of performance testing & monitoring tools.
  • Functional Testing Stream:

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles including waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies
  • Support and define the alignment of a test management concept to ensure quality and stability.
  • Analyze and define cross-application test requirements.
  • Ensure, plan, coordinate and execute all testing activities.
  • Strong alignment and active driving of testing activities over all involved applications with all Stakeholders.
  • Define, align and implement a defect management process.
  • Work with our cross-functional agile teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including our agile team and our customers’ operations users, managers and QA teams
  • As part of the Release Management team, you will be responsible for some of the following tasks.   
    Non-exhaustive list of your future tasks for the team:

  • Analyze the planned landscape and all involved applications including their release approach.
  • Support the definition of a Release Management concept for the OneHouse solution and align that with all relevant stakeholders (Business Partners, System Owners, Suppliers, topic owner and markets) to support the initial development and constant changes of the planned solution
  • Coordinate release times and content over all applications
  • Release planning, communication and documentation
  • Manage of several development and testing environments
  • Document all processes and implement continuous improvement
  • As the Lead Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for some of the following tasks.   
    Non-exhaustive list of your future tasks for the team:

  • Ensure Quality and SLAs - Contribute to meeting the SLAs and KPIs as applicable for the product.
  • Ensure high responsiveness and timely resolution of tickets raised in Production Environment.
  • Ensures that tasks are assigned to the right team and completed on time and that delivery timelines are met in accordance with the quality targets of the organization.
  • Attention to user reports Level 1 and scale/track users report Level 2 and Level 3
  • Interact with users, business stakeholders and team members, typically discussing and reporting progress of requests and individual incidents
  • Ticket logging, updating and tracking – working in an organized fashion to ensure that all issues are dealt with effectively and details captured to enable team working.

    Education          

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience
    Must have experience in the following:

  • A proven understanding of automated testing planning, techniques and drivers of quality software
  • A deep understanding of modern automated testing methodologies, such as TDD, BDD, etc.
  • Proven experience of achieving repeatability through test automation
  • Knowledge of Agile software development principles
  • Hands-on experience on Selenium, Playwright, Applium, Github, Azure DevOps/TFS
  • Good working knowledge of automated test software and preferably SQL
  • Attention to detail, with an analytical mind, problem-solving aptitude and ability to think laterally
  • Strong organisational skills including task allocation, tracking and management reporting, especially working with remote teams
  • Experience in providing realistic work estimates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Participating in release planning, story grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and sprint demo.
  • Managing offshore teams, work efforts and good project management know-how.
  • Acting independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Comprehensive experience in agile software development (SAFe/SCRUM) or DevOps
  • Well-founded expertise in release management
  • Knowledge in the field of microservices, API design incl. API-Gateways (best case One-API), cloud architectures.
  • Experience in supporting web-based and vendor applications
  • Experienced working in an international multi-stakeholder environment
